In this web-quest you will learn what it means to create a podcast that you enjoy making and the steps that you should take in order to get started.
Process
You will watch a guest lecture given by Travis McElroy, a professional podcaster, at this url.

You will break up into groups of four and choose a theme for your podcast.
You will follow these steps.
- You will download audacity by clicking on this url and downloading it for your appropriate OS. http://www.audacityteam.org/download/
- You and your group will individually come up with 10 talking points for your podcast.
- You and your group will record a hour long conversation in audacity.
- You and your group will edit your conversation down to a maximum of 45 minutes.
- You and your group will listen to the "final cut" of the edit and decide whether or not keep editing.
- Using the video you and your group will brainstorm who you would market this podcast to and what ways, if any, you would plan on monetizing this podcast. Be sure to include a reason why if you decide not to monetize.
