Panama is a vibrant and essential part of the country's cultural The traditional arts and crafts, music, religion, sports, and food of Panama are manifestations of a culture that is a fusion of African, American Indian, North American, and Spanish influences. In addition to its numerous festivals, Panama is well-known throughout Latin America for its music. The Indian population of the nation has done a great job of preserving other facets of traditional culture. Panama is a melting pot of cultures, incorporating features from many different sources and appreciating both innovation and the best aspects of the past.

Individual task
Your task is to create a flyer using Canvas with native festivities, folkloric music, food, and handicraft. Select one handcraft and get ready to present it to your class along with your flyer with the classmate.

Process
1. Investigate the evolution of cultural Panamanian Heritage.
2. Provide basic information on Panama’s main festivities, folkloric music, food, and handicraft.
3. Elaborate a flyer with native handicraft specific of a region using Canvas (jars of clay, musical instrument, Panamanian outfit, etc.)
4. Oral presentation Chose 1 handicraft previously investigated and explain to the class how to design it
Evaluation
Your oral presentation will be evaluated based on
- Content: Demonstrates a clear understanding of the topic. 20 pts.
- Activity: Creative and appropriate use of the technology to create flyer. 20 pts.
- Presentation: Very clear and concise, demonstrate passionate interest in the topic.30 pts.
- Creativity: Be creative in the design, keep your writing, pronunciation, and responsibility. Your camera must be on. 10 pts.
- Puntuality and Responsability 10 pts.
