However, building a great team is not only about choosing famous players.You must also think carefully about the players and their positions. Which goalkeeper will protect the goal? Which defenders will stop the opponent? Which striker will score goals?

Task
Your task is to work in a group and create your Dream Football Team.
You will prepare:
▶ A starting 11 team lineup
▶ A team name and logo
▶ A short explanation of why you chose each player
▶ A visual team poster using Canva
At the end of the activity, your group will present your team to the class.
Process
Follow these steps carefully.
Step 1 – Learn the Positions
First, learn the basic football positions.

Step 2 – Research Famous Players
Search the internet and explore famous football players.

Choose players according to their positions and abilities.
Step 3 – Build Your Team
Your team must include:
1 Goalkeeper
4 Defenders
3 Midfielders
3 Forwards
You should also choose:
► a team captain
► a team name
Discuss with your group and decide which players are the best choices.
Step 4 – Create Your Team Poster
Use Canva to design a poster of your dream team.
Your poster should include:
► Team name
► Team logo
► Pictures of the players
► Team formation (for example 4-3-3)
► A short slogan for your team
