Create PowerPoint Presentation about GCC Countries

Introduction

Dear Student, lets assume that you a friend visiting Bahrain from Europe for the first time, and from a curiosity, he asked you about Bahrain and GCC countries, with this simple presentation you can introduce him to all of GCC countries and some general information of each GCC country.  

Task

Creating a PowerPoint presentation slideshow, listing a general information about GCC countries such as Country Name, Capital City, Governor Name & Family, and attractions, each country will have it's own slide including the specific information in table, finally, save the presentation under the student name.

Process

General tips:

  • Prior beginning, the student should have a PC with an activated Microsoft Office 365 account in order to proceed with work and be able to use Microsoft Office Products.
  • Procedure  and Steps of application are provided from MOE's curriculum e-.book, make must make sure to have his own e-book copy in order to proceed accurately.

After following the procedure, the student is expected to be:

  • Familiar with MS PowerPoint Features.
  • Creating a slide show presentation.
  • Filling slides with the required data.
  • Hyperlinking Slides.
  • Work Saving. 

Follow the steps below

  1. Launch MS PowerPoint.
  2. Select "Blank" template.
  3. the first Slide will be the "Title" slide by default, type the topic name, then type your name and class under the title.
  4. Add new slide, and let it be "Title and Content Type.
  5. Enter in title text box "GCC Countries" and in the below text box list GCC countries names, this will be the index slide.
  6. Repeat Step 4.
  7. Type a GCC country name in the title field, then insert a table with 2 rows and 4 columns.
  8. In the first row fields type with order "Country Name - Capital City - Governor - Attractions.
  9. Fill the second row with the required data of specific country.
  10. Repeat Steps 4,7,8,9 until you have entered full list of GCC countries data.
  11. Insert a hyperlink linking a country slide with the matched country name in the index slide, e.g. "Kingdom of Bahrain" text in the index is linked with "Kingdom of Bahrain" Titled Slide.
  12. Repeat Step 11 in all the remaining slides.
  13. Insert a Shape button on all slides excluding "Index" and "Main Title" slides, type "Return" in the shape in link it with the Index slide, this will work as a return button during the slideshow.
  14. After applying all the previous steps, preview your work and test the links.
  15. Save your work as your name and class.
