Counting is the action of finding the number of elements of a finite set of objects by continually increasing a counter by a unit for every element in the set, in some order. Counting is used by children to demonstrate knowledge of the number names and number system.
Task
Today you will be learning how visualize and represent numbers from 0 to 100 using a variety of materials and count the number of objects in a given set by ones and tens.

You will have the entire lesson for this task which is to be completed for home work if necessary. As you go on with this topic I want you to keep in mind that numbers are everywhere and it plays an important role in our lives. We will discuss these ideas in our next lesson. |
