This WebQuest will provide the opportunity to learn about the possible consequences of drinking while driving so that the student will be able to make an informed decision. We hope to educate drivers of the dangers of impaired driving with the goal of saving lives.

Drinking and driving is a dangerous, yet common activity in the United States. It causes thousands of deaths each year, results in severe penalties and has life-altering consequences. Those who drink and drive also face numerous court appearances, a criminal record and an unshakable stigma.
Task

1. How much a DUI cost in the state of Virginia for a first time offender
2. What changes occur at different blood alcohol content (BAC) levels.
3. The number of DUI incidents for the past year.
4. The number of fatalities related to alcohol consumption and driving for the past year.
