The purpose of this WebQuest is to help you learn about the physical, emotional, and social changes that come with puberty, as well as coping mechanisms.
You will gain knowledge and confidence about managing puberty by finishing this WebQuest.
Task
After completing this WebQuest, you will:
- Determine the main social, emotional, and physical changes that occur during puberty.
- Make a presentation with coping mechanisms for these changes.
- Create a resource pack (digital or physical) to assist peers in overcoming obstacles associated with puberty.

Step 1: Research

Step 2: Reflect

Write a brief reflection answering these questions:
- What was the most surprising thing you learned about puberty?
- How do you think these changes will affect your daily life?
Step 3: Collaborate
- Work in groups of 3-4 students to brainstorm challenges teenagers might face during puberty (e.g. body image, mood swings, peer pressure).
- Discuss ways to manage these challenges effectively.
Step 4: Create a presentation
As a group, use PowerPoint, Google Slides, or poster boards to create a presentation.
Include the following:
- An overview of the changes during puberty.
- Challenges teenagers might face.
- Practical tips for coping with these challenges.
Step 5: Develop a resource toolkit
Individually, create a toolkit with the following:
