Today you will be working on one of the most controversial issues of all time "CONTAMINATION" You will be learning about this topic, its causes and terrible consequences. Also, you will get to know how to raise conscious, change our mind, make others change their attitude towards pollution and start fighting back. Are you in? Or Are you out?
Task
Working in pairs, you will follow the instructions on the process page performing the different exercises on your notebooks by following the links provided to the appropriate websites and pages. You will have the entire lesson for this task which is to be completed for homework if necessary.
As you research this topic I want you to keep in mind specific terminology and Pay special attention to the tips given in order to take action against contamination. Considering the different tips provided you are expected to give an oral presentation summarizing the most relevant information and propose an environmental campaign to start at your school. It must include: Reasons for the campaign and tips to change peoples' attitude. This information must be presented on a leaflet created by you and your partner. It must include a logo representing your campaign. Use the vocabulary studied on the web quest and the unit from the class book “we’re going to volunteer”.
