Hey boys and girls! Do you know who helps keep our community safe, and clean and fun? We have the friendly firefighters who put out fires, the nice nurse who cares for us when we are sick, community helpers are all around us, making our community a happy place. In this lesson, you will learn about different community helpers, what they do, and why they are very important. You will discover how everyone in our community works together to help each other. Are you ready to meet our everyday heroes? Let's get started!
Task
Today we embark on a quest to learn about road safety.
By the end of quest, students will be

Step 2: Students will make models of their favourite community workers from trashable.
Step 3: The teacher and students will have discussion about the roles and duties of their community helpers made.
Process
Procedures:
Students will be placed in groups of 4 in carrying out the assigned tasks.
1. Teacher will brief each group on what they are expected to do.
2.Students will view a video and from that video they will recall from that community helpers to aid in their making.
