Introduction
While driving places with you parents or walking around outside I am sure you have seen many different people throughout your community. What kind of people have you seen? What have they been doing? what are they wearing? where do they work? As children you may see someone new every day. As you get older you will need to know who is in your community and what they do. We are going to identify and understand to roles of community helpers.
Task
In this project your job is to research about all of the helpers in your community. You will need to reconize the clothes they are wearing, what they are doing and where they work. At the end of this you will be doing an activity, placing the people of your community in the places which they work and then telling each other what they do to help.

4. Now you know about your community members, what they do, and where they work. You will be given a sheet that shows all of the building around your community and all of the helpers. You will then have to match them. After this you will have a class discussion on what each helper does.
