Introduction
Animals are all around us. Learning about farm animals is important for understanding our environment. Have you ever visited a farm? There are many types of farm animals that live on the farm.However many of these farm animals may be seen other places other than on the farm. Some people have farm animals in their homes and use them as thier pets. This WebQuest is designed so that students can explore and read books about farm animals. You will learn that each one has its own special sound and job on a farm. After exploring through some websites and reading some books, we will write a class story about life on a farm. At the end of this topic, we will make a collage with farm animal and be engaged in dramatic play to tell what was learnt. Let's learn more about farm Animals !
Task
The learners will be enjoying a short poem entitled Barnyard Gate. . You will use your knowledge of farm animals, the sounds they make, and their job on a famr to create this book. After the book is complete, we will act it out as a class in dramatic play time.
Students will search for information about the types of farm animals.Then use the information learnt about animals to create a model farm exhibit.
.At the end of this webquest, students will have learnt enough about life on a farm to create their own page in our class book
Process

- explore five different websites. All these websites are about farm animals and life on a farm. Some have pictures, sounds, coloring pages, and games. Take your time and have fun!
- Check out the animals in your type using the internet links and books.
- Decide on one animal from your type for the school zoo.
Evaluation
All of your work on this WebQuest project will be a part of the evaluation. The evaluation is a checklist that consists of five components, they are clearly defined and they either get a yes or a no.

Learning about animals and their needs is important for all people. I hope you will enjoy working on this WebQuest.I We have learned that all kinds of animals have their own special sounds and their own special jobs. Each job is just as important as the next to make life on the farm keep going every day. Do you remember what a cow says? a pig? a duck, horse, and chicken? I hope so!
