there are many different clouds. in this Webquest we will identify three different ones: Stratus, Cirrus, and Cumulus. by the end, students will be able to tell the difference between them all.
Task
At the end, students must be able to tell the difference between the clouds. They will be able to look in the sky and tell each cloud by its scientific name. this would be a good project to do outside. The students will learn about the clouds and then watch the youtube video to take the fun quiz.
Process
Stratus clouds are flat featureless clouds that are lower in the sky. these clouds tend to form fog in the morning. They can cause a drizzle or two.
Cumulus clouds are the fluffy looking clouds. they usually indicate a good day. they can turn into storm clouds and form into cumulonimbus clouds.
Cirrus clouds are the short long finger like clouds in the sky. they also could be a sign of a good day. they are the thinnest clouds.
after taking the youtube quiz, take the other quiz for fun.
