By learning about the civil rights movement students will understand what injustice toward African American was like and how to fight future injustuce toward any group of people.

Student will define academic languages within lesson, be able to analyze court cases, write a report of a person, events, or social group that made an impact on the civil rights movements of the 1960s.
Conclusion
Student will understand what injustice, racism, and bias towards another groups looks like and how to fight against it in a peaceful way. student will understand why it is important to show compassion toward another group of people. studnet will also understand how equality is important for all and how it change a community and can impact the history of the world.
