Charlotte's Web

Introduction

Charlotte's Web is a novel written by E.B. White. Charlotte's Web tells the story of a unique friendship between a spider and a pig. 

We will be using this novel to help understand the different characters and their traits.

Task

After reading Charlotte's Web as a class, you will pick your two (2) favorite characters (for example, Ms. Hope's is Fern and Templeton). 

After picking your characters, you with make a T chart to write down characteristics of these two characters.

Process

1. We will read Charlotte's Web as a class.

2. We will discuss some of our favorite characters in a group discussion and why they are our favorite.

3. We will complete the Task.

4. We will share our T charts with the class.

5. After the T charts are finished students will be able to play Charlotte's Web hangman found under the Conclusion tab either independently or with a buddy. When they have finished their hangman, they can turn in their hangman word or phrase in on a piece of paper as an exit ticket for the day.
