Cervical Cancer among Woman especially OFWs

Introduction

Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the Philippines. it also affects Overseas Filipino Workers(OFWs), particularly domestic helpers in places like Hong Kong, with studies indicating gaps in awareness and screening practices, despite its high incidence in countries like the Philippines. Due to the persistent HPV infection that causes cervical cancer, HPV vaccination and regular cervical cancer screening, such as Pap smears or HPV tests, are crucial prevention methods for  OFWs to reduce their risk and enable early detection and treatment.

How to promote awareness about cervical cancer, what the causes and how to prevent this problem among woman.

Process

1. Organize educational workshop.

2. Launch a social media campaigns.

3. Create and distribute information materials.

4.  Partner with local health organization for health screenings
