Introduction
Cells are the subject of the WebQuest you are going to read.
Hopefully, this will help you see the inside world of cells and answer some of your questions about it.
Task
Now that you know what this webquest is about, I'd like to take you on a journey into the world of cells.
You're about to see a small preview of what I looked into for this webquest.
This will only be a sneak peek from the wonderful perspective of life's tiniest unit.
Then I'll go over a number of facts on how cells function on a daily basis.
So let's get started and I hope you enjoy.
Process
Process Questions:
-
Researchers believe that one of the many causes of memory loss associated with aging is the gradual decline of hormones and proteins as people age.
-
They can be used to treat many nervous system problems in people by replacing cells.
-
Protein extracts from frog eggs were used to mimic the repair of a lesion in a test tube, according to the researchers. These extracts contain the same proteins as human cells, making them an excellent model for studying these pathologies.
-
According to a new scientific study, Schwann cells that surround neurons safeguard nerve degeneration by blocking thrombin, a blood-clotting molecule that may also damage nerves. These findings could aid future research into the genetic and molecular pathways behind diseases like multiple sclerosis.
-
Because the stomach is coated with epithelial cells that create mucus, it does not digest itself. This creates a barrier between the stomach lining and the contents.
Evaluation

these are examples of different types of cells like red blood cells and working cells.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I hope you learned a bundle of facts during this WebQuest, just like I did while researching all of these. Here is a summary of all of the things I learned today.
Cells are interesting units of life that help humans and their bodies in many ways.
For example, they help treat nervous system disorders such as Alzheimers and Epilipsy, which are one of the 2 most common disorders in the nervous system, that sadly a lot of people suffer with.
I also learned new things, one example being the causes of memory loss, because I had absolutely no idea that protein and hormones can decline with age.
Something else that surprised me is when I found out that "fat" cells (which I didn't even know was a thing) can help people with spinal cord injuries.
Researching this WebQuest taught me a lot, and I hope it did the same for you.
