During this Webquest you will work in a small group to learn how to create and design your very own photo story. You will be an expert at importing pictures, using editing effects, adding captions, recording your voice, adding transitions, and selecting background music for your digital story. Use your creativity to animate a digital story about yourself to show to the class. The possibilities are endless!
Task
Task at Hand
In small groups of 3-4 students, you will create a digital photo story using Microsoft Photo Story 3. Here you will be able to import photographs, add captions, and narrate each slide through the presentation. Your group will present your story to the class when completed. Job Description are listed below.
Group Jobs:
1. The Technician- you will be the person in charge of all the typing, corrections, additions of pictures and all other keyboard skills that are needed. You will need good English and Grammar skills.
2. The Photographer- you will be in charge of taking the digital photos that will be needed for your story. You will need to find your subject(s), or object(s) and take unique and unusual photos. This job will require some photo taking skills, but not on an expert level.
3. The Idea Supreme- you will need to come up with several ideas for your story.Then once you have your ideas, you will need to present it to your group for a vote on the story that will be used.
4. The Project Manager- you will be in charge of finalizing your group's story and overseeing your group members on the project. This job requires good leadership skills and good time-management.

Step 2. Open PhotoStory 3 on your computer and click "Begin New Photo Story"
Step 3. Import and arrange your chosen photographs
Step 4. Add a title to your pictures
Step 4. Record your voice to narrate the photographs
Step 6. Customize motion with transitions on each photo
Step 7. Add background music
Step 8. Save your story
Step 9. Share your story with the teacher and class :)
