Introduction
Is that plant you're looking at real? Is that robot doing your homework for you "mad" at you? Is the teddy bear you sleep with just as sleepy as you are? These kinds of questions can be answered quickly if you know the 5 processes that all organisms, from the smallest spider to the biggest whale, have in common!
Task
Today you will be reviewing the five processes that all organisms have in common. Then you will choose an organism that you find interesting, look through a factual book about that organism, and give an example of each of the processes that your organism does. Remember, every organism must do each of the five things and in most cases there are many examples of each process from which you can choose.
