Introduction
Webquests are fun ways to learn new things! The internet is a great source for accessing information, as long as you know where to look!
After reading Edgar Allan Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado", we need to check our understanding by picking out vocabulary words.
When you learn the definitions of these words, you will find more meaning in the story!
Task
Look back at your text (in the book or online) and write down five words of which you do not know the meaning.
Share the words with your partner and choose which five words (between your separate lists) are the most CRUCIAL to our understanding of the story.
Together, make an online presentation to teach the words to the class.
Use any of these sites to create a presentation. Be creative! Don't bore the class!

Process
Pretend you are the teacher and make a vocabulary lesson PowerPoint for your classmates. PowerPoints should be visually appealing- having a good balance of pictures and words. Don't make your slides cluttered with graphics or text. You should agree as a research team which 5 words are the most important to the understanding of "The Cask of Amontillado." (I will be asking why you chose the words on your presentation!)
Your PowerPoint should include...
The vocabulary word
Its part of speech
The definition of the word or phrase (In your own words)
The textual citation from the story
A visual representation
"Works Cited" page at the end with list of web links you used
