You are a group of 3 very gifted bakers. You have decided to turn your baking talents into a business... and to open your own bakery with distinguished birthday cakes. You need to find the way to promote your bakery, to decorate the interior of your cake shop and to prepare the portfolio with your cakes.

Task
Baker 1
You need to figure out how to promote your cake shop via Internet or by creating leaflets. You have to find some examples of successful advertising campaigns. Design your advertisement.
Baker 2
You need to think of how the cake shop should look like to attract the customers. Do a research concerning the most popular bakeries... maybe it will inspire you. Precise the style that fits your bakery best, the color of the walls, and what kind of pictures and decorations would you like to have.You can create a collage with the photos of things that you would like to buy. Also, your task is to prepare the PowerPoint presentation with the collage, the advert and the portfolio (the rest of the group can help you).
Baker 3
You need to prepare the portfolio of your birthday cakes. Find on the Internet, what kind of cake designs are the most popular. You can draw them in Paint or in any other graphic program.
Process
Step 1
The first thing you need to do is to define your roles.

After that, each of you needs to read the instructions for your tasks.
Step 3
You can discuss in group the strategy of your cake shop (what kind of advertisement do you want, what the bakery should look like, what kind of birthday cakes do you want to bake).
Step 4
You can start working on your part of activity.
Step 5
Presentation of the results of your project in front of the class. You can show us the project of your advertisement, the collage with the elements of decoration of your bakery and the portfolio with cakes.
