Becoming Teachers for a Day

Introduction

Students will learn about the water cycle and how water moves between each cycle. Notes should be taken, so that after they can turn around and "teach" the other students.

Evaluation

To show understanding of the water cycle break up into groups of 3. The students will act out being 1st grade teachers and show their students how the water cycle works. There is a Art Teacher, who will show the water cycle with pictures. A English Teacher who will have the "science" vocabulary and have definitions for the students. The last will be the Science Teacher who will show how the water cycle is related to other cycles that they have learned about like the food web.

Conclusion

Students will write up a report, discussing how working on the project was, how it felt being a teacher, and what was their favorite part of the water cycle.
