Introduction
You have been selected to be a part of your school's health team. You received an urgent and important email that says:
'In our world today, the time spent on screens is rapidly increasing whilst the level of physical activity is decreasing. Few persons are taking time to be physically active for a minimum of 30 minutes daily. This lack of physical activity is very detrimental especially for persons with various health diseases. therefore, it is of vital importance that we decrease our time spent on the screen and be more physically active since it plays an essential role in preventing and managing a range of health issues.
How can you and your team help to resolve this issue?
Task
You and your team members have been tasked with investigating the benefits of being active.
Determine how you and your team can promote your benefits identified to encourage persons to participate more in physical activity.
As a team of health advertisers, you will make a 2-3-minute digital clip showing some activities we can do to promote physical activity. Your audience can be either of the following:
- teachers and students at local schools
- employers
- parents
This task will help you to understand that regular physical activity is essential for us to stay healthy and contributed to long life

Process
Follow the steps in order to be successful with your assignment.
- you will be divided into groups of four (4)
-as a group you will discussed what physical activity is.
-in your group you will identify a leader after which you should separate the assigned tasks. For example: one person investigate the benefits of being active, etc..
Once your research has been completed, your team can use the information to create your video clip promoting physical activities

Conclusion
Students will be given two weeks of in-class time to complete their assigned tasks.
Once all presentations have been completed, students will be engaged in a think, pair, share activity. after which the shared activity will be done in the form of an open class discussion. We will say what we liked, disliked, and what we could improve from the tasks presented.
