We can't participate in physical education class today? What the heck! Physical education is a great time to release some energy and have a fun time! Hopefully we will be back in the gym or on the field tomorrow. While we are missing today's physical activity today, I want you to learn more about the game of baseball.

The game of baseball is a fun physical activity that contains various rules, regulations, and basic skills. Baseball is a fun sport that helps students work on different social skills. Some social skills that baseball helps with are teamwork, communication, confidence, and friendships. Playing baseball helps gain the proper amount of physical activity need for a healthy lifestyle.

To complete this assignment you will need to use the internet to investigate the game of baseball. 

 

- You will need to know the names and position number assigned for each of the positions in the field while on defence. 

- You will investigate the basic rules and regulations of the game.

- You will learn more about the 5 basic skills of the game.

- You will discover and learn about vocabulary that relates to the game of baseball.

8. What are the names of the two leagues in professional baseball and when was each founded?

9. What is the difference between the two leagues?

10. In your opinion, who is the greatest baseball player of all time? Explain your answer in complete sentences!

Evaluation

Each of the questions on this assignment are worth 10 points each for a total of 100 points. This assignment counts as a quiz grade and each question must be answered in complete sentences. If you have any question feel free to ask, but your job is to investigate the game of baseball.
