Task

                                              Our Task for Today is:

Required:

  • Distinguish between a multiplicative comparison from an additive comparison given in a word problem.
  • Identify multiplicative comparisons in a word problem.
  • Express a multiplicative comparison into an equation with an unknown and solve the word problem.
  • Have the ability to incorporate multiplication and division to solve a word problem
  • Express final answer in sentence form to communicate verbally

Extra Credit:

Identify a situation that you encountered in the last week and write a word problem to express it using multiplicative comparison.
