Teacher Introduction

This WebQuest is part of a cross-curricular unit about super heros for third grade students. The students will learn basic facts about super heros, super powers, costumes and secret identities. The final product will be an informational book about thier own created super hero that can be placed in the classroom library. How much guidance students need for each step will depend upon the particular needs, level of experience, and prior knowledge they have. The teacher may want to show a super hero introduction to the whole class at one time. It is suggested that the teacher provide appropriate graphic organizers to assist with note-taking, group discussions and book compiling.
