Introduction
The Iditarod Sled Dog Race is a long distance race that is ran starting in March. This race goes from Anchorage Alaska to Nome Alaska. The Iditarod Race is ran by a team of 16 mush dogs.
Task
Pick a musher that you think will win the race. After picking a musher get to know them by research. Also get to know each of their dogs and follow them throughout the race.

3.0- Organized and meets all the requirements. Completes all the steps and works hard on project.
2.0- After receiveing help, student still doesn't understand the requirements and only gets part of the project done.
1.0- After recieveing help, students still doesn't understand requirements and doesn't get any of the project comepleted.
0.0- Student didn't even try completing project.
Conclusion
This project will allow students to learn about the Iditarod Dog Race and follow the race. This is something fun for students while incorporating research into the project as well.
As a class we will then write a letter to Gary Paulsen. He is the author of different books completing his experience with the Iditarod Dog Race.
