The internet dates back to the early 1990's. It was a place to research information such as how to bake cookies or to learn about the planets. The internet has changes drastically and today many people use it to keep in touch with people by email or social networking such as Instagram, Twitter or Facebook or to go shopping.

Staying safe when you are online is something that everyone needs to know how to do. I expect this information you will receive will allow you practice safety precautions while using the internet and will also give you the tools on how to make sure others around you are safe. When you are not careful while online, you can not only invite unwanted people into your life but can be the victim of identity theft as well as the victim of other crimes.
