Introduction

Do you want break stories of misconduct in Congress? Do you want to have the inside scoop on who the next coach of your favorite team will be? To do any of those things, you must be a good reporter.

To be a good reporter, it is imperative to follow the guidelines. This is an AP Style WebQuest designed to teach you some of the basics, as well as to test you on the acquired knowledge. After completing this WebQuest, you will no longer look like a novice when writing stories, and be on your way to winning Pulitzer Prizes.

Someone who earns an A is someone who is ready to write for their local paper immediately (no AP Style errors in article). A B grade indicates that they might have to intern for a little while before really becoming a reporter (a few errors in article). A C grade is someone who needs to hone their craft in a school newspaper before stepping foot in a legitimate newsroom (lots of errors in article).
