Introduction
Welcome, Young Explorers! The Great Zoo is in trouble! Some animals are lost and they don't know where their homes are. Do they live in the cold Arctic or the hot Jungle? In this mission, you will become Zoologists. You must research different animals and their habitats to help them get home safely. Let’s learn about nature together!
Key Vocabulary: Habitat, Mammal, Reptile, Desert, Rainforest, Ocean, Arctic.
Task
Your mission is to create a Digital Animal Fact Sheet. In groups of three, you will choose one wild animal and research:
- Where it lives (Habitat).
- What it eats (Diet).
-
One "Cool Fact" about it. Finally, you will present your findings to the class to help the animals find their way home!
Process
To complete your mission, follow these steps:
-
Form your team: Choose your partners.
-
Choose your animal: Pick one from the list (Lion, Penguin, Shark, or Camel).
-
Research: Use the "Resources" section to find information about your animal's home and food.
-
Create your Fact Sheet: Use a digital tool to put the text and a beautiful picture of the animal. You can use Google slides or Canva, the one that you preffer.
-
Presentation: Get ready to explain your animal to the Great Zoo director (the teacher)

Conclusion
Congratulations, Zoologists! You have successfully helped the animals find their homes. Through this project, you have learned how to use the internet to find important information and how to work as a team. Reflect on this: Which habitat was the most interesting for you? Why?
