Standard: 3-LS1-1 Develop models to describe that organisms have unique and diverse life cycles but all have in common birth, growth, reproduction, and death.

Disciplinary Core Idea: Reproduction is essential to the continued existence of every kind of organism. Plants and animals have unique and diverse life cycles.

 

Students are expected to understand and be able to describe different life cycles of plants and animals. In every life cycle, there is birth/growth, reproduction, and death. The model that students will create in this WebQuest is the Venn Diagram comparing plant and animal life cycles. Within the questions on the google form, students are expected to identify the types of reproduction but also which living thing it correlates to.
