- Think of one question regarding adaptation. Post your question and the information you have found that best supports and answers your question. Ex. Why do sloths move so slowly?Sloths eat mostly leaves and vegetation. Because leaves and other green treats don’t provide a large amount of energy, there is not much the sloth has to lose. In order to slow down their rate of metabolism and conserve energy sloths move slowly. Wow! Who knew?
