Why do sloths move so slowly?Sloths eat mostly leaves and vegetation. Because leaves and other green treats don’t provide a large amount of energy, there is not much the sloth has to lose. In order to slow down their rate of metabolism and conserve energy sloths move slowly. Wow! Who knew?
