Each team member must become knowledgeable in understanding their section they will focus on for this project. Use the sections below:

- Front Page Story

- Sports Section

- Life & Culture Section

- Public Relations/Advertising

-  Building/Architecture/Housing

- Gossip Section

Process

Your end goal is to make a well-created, well written magazine about your chosen ancient civilization. Demonstrating your deep understanding of the civilization you chose. You will begin this process by assigning each of you to one role or section for the magazine. It is up to you how the magazine will be structured. We recommend looking at examples to help you with this. The magazine still needs to flow and connect, so you will need to ensure you work together to make this happen.

1) Front Page Editor:  Your job is to write at least two (2) front page articles for your magazine.  One of these articles must be about a god from your ancient civilization.  The other article must be about a hero and his/her victorious battle from your civilization. Each article should be 300 words in length. Front page stories are important! They capture the attention of the reader straight away. Images and pictures are essential.

2) Gossip Columnist:  Your job is to write at least three (3) gossip articles for the second page of the magazine.  For a really good gossip column, stick to topics such as love affairs, break-ups, love-triangles, feuding families and/or friends.  Each article should be 200 words in length. Images and pictures are essential.

3)  Sports Section: Your job is to write at least three (3) articles in relation to sports/active life from your ancient civilization.  Each article should be 200 words in length. Images and pictures are essential.

4) Public Relations/Advertising: Your job is to design at least three (3) advertisments.  These advertisements can be for restaurants, clothing stores, movies, or products.  They must relate to your ancient civilization.  For example, you could design an advertisement for Aphrodite's Dating Service.  These advertisements do not have a word length, but must include graphics to help sell the product.  Each advertisment must be at least 1/3 page in size.

5) Building/Architecture/Housing: Your job is to write at least (2) articles that focus on buildings/architecture/housing related to your ancient civilization. This should be a double spread and include images and features that make them examples of great architecture. Each article should be 300 words in length. Images and pictures are essential.

6) Life and Culture: Your job is to write (3) articles to explain life and culture in relation to your ancient civilization. For example you could look at food or celebrations related to your ancient civilization. Each article should be 200 words in length. Images and pictures are essential.
