You have learned that some animals may or may not look like their parents when they are babies. Animals go through different stages during their lifetime called life cycles.
In the story, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carl, we read about the changes a caterpillar goes through.

Have you ever wondered about the life cycle of a different animal?
Now that you are a biologist, all your fellow scientists and dozens of reporters are anxious to learn about the life cycle of your animal. In order to be prepared for your press conference you need to do some research on life cycles. By investigating the life cycles of other animals you will be ready for your press conference.
In this activity we will be learning about the life cycle of a chicken, frog, and a fish.
