Introduction
I am going to create a zoo and I need your help. I am going to have many different types of dinosaurs in my zoo so need to create many different enclosures for them to live in.
Task
Your task will be to follow the process of the webquest to find out as much as you can about your chosen dinosaur.
Process
1. Choose a dinosaur from this list
| Velociraptor | Triceratops | ||
| Apatosaurus | |||
2. Make a detailed poster of your dinosaur explaining everything you can find out about it, eg what it ate, where it lived, how big it was, when it lived. Use the link above but you can also do some extra research if you can't find the information that you need.
3.Research the time period that your dinosaur was found in. Look at the plants, amount of water, whether there were volcanos, etc.
4. Design the habitat for your dinosaur to live in, being ready to explain to me why you have chosen to add what you have.
5. Using playdough, create a model of your dinosaur.
6. Click on the world map. When the browser opens, right click on this map and press print. Colour in the parts of the map where your dinosaur was found.
7. Create a drawing of your dinosaur and place it onto your habitat. Then add black stripes to represent the bars.
8. Make a scale drawing of your dinosaur, if it was 30 m long, make it 30 cm long.
9. Make some recommendations to Mrs Dossett about other dinosaurs your dinosaur would live well with.
10. Play any of these games when all other tasks are complete.
Conclusion
Well done on helping me create a zoo for all of my dinosaurs. Hopefully you had fun and have learnt heaps about your dinosaur.
