You have to search some information about Alaska looking for different web pages about Alaskan culture: main cities, food, animals will help you know about this beautiful country.
Over the time you end this exercise you will know a lot about this cold and amazing country. You will become familiar with different web pages that will provide you information about the main cities, food, and animals.
To conclude, in pairs you will prepare a presentation of one of these 3 subject areas trying to convince your teacher and your classmates that this is the best place to visit and also learn the language.

Evaluation
For this webquest you will have two marks: a group mark (70%) and an individual mark ( 30%).
- For the group mark your teacher will assess:
- The quality of the information in the blog.
- The work of the blog (images, videos…)
- The proper use of English (grammar, vocabulary, spelling,…)
- At the end of this activity the class will vote for the best blog and will choose the the best reason/area to go to study English to Alaska.
Conclusion
Thanks to this web quest, students will have learned, many different things about Alaska and the importance of learning English at school.
Students will also have discovered how to find information on the web and put it into a blog, so they will have improved their digital competence.
Finally, they will also have improved their writing competence!
