You are responsible for researching a career and sharing the information with your classmates.  The research should be driven by your own interests, skills, abilities and values.

This research is valuable!  It will help guide the class choices you make throughout high school and the post-secondary option you ultimately choose for a successful career!

CTE Focus:

  • Research and compare careers that match your interests, skills and abilities.
  • Prepare criteria for personal career planning, and use the decision making process to formulate tentative career plans.
  • Compare salaries, lexile level needed, and employability for different careers.
  • Create a computer generated informational flyer or brochure outlining  your chosen career to share at our class career fair. (If using Google docs, email it to my school email with your name and class period in the subject line.)
  • Critique 2 career projects from classmates using evaluation forms.
