African American Tales - Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters

Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters is a story of two daughters, Manyara and Nyasha, who live with their father in a small African village. As they journey to the city, both daughters meet challenges along the way. Follow the instructions to complete your webquest project.

1. Read the PDF of the story of Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters.

2. Color and cut out the story mapping cards.

3. Use the story mapping example to help you:

• Cut and paste a river.
• Color the land around the river.
• Place the cards in an order that shows how the story happened (it doesn't have to look exactly like mine!)
