Task
You work for an important travel agency. This week different clients have contacted you and they have stated their interests, likes and needs.
Work in pairs. Choose your potential clients and evaluate their profiles. After that, choose two hotels and imagine how you can convince one of them to book the accommodation you suggest. You are going to introduce them in a detailed way including all the necessary information to sell the places.
Potential clients:
- Three friends who are in their twenties. They are sporty, they love visiting remote places.
- A couple who are in their thirties. They enjoy extreme sports and like the mountains.
- A family with two children. They are keen on beaches.
- A single man/woman who is in his/her fourties and is fond of staying at hotels and enjoying the facilities.

Process
Step 1:
You should imagine that you are one of the most successful advertisers and travel agents in the world.
Step 2:
Search for the most interesting /unusual/ amazing hotels around the world. Make a list and pick the ones that match your clients' profile.
Step 3:
Find information about, for example:
- What services do they offer?
- What makes them special?
- How much does it cost?
- Are they open throughout the whole year or are they seasonal hotels?
- Where are they?
- How about the bedrooms?
Step 4:
By using the information that you have found, create short video-clips, posters, brochures, etc. to advertise your hotels. You can also add some guests’ comments about the places or how they are rated in different websites.
Step 5:
Present your ad to your teacher.
