This WebQuest, titled The Advantages of Technology in Education, is designed for Senior High School in Educational Technology or ICT-related subjects. It aims to help learners understand how technology improves teaching and learning processes in modern education. Through guided online activities, students will explore the benefits of technology, identify different digital tools used in classrooms, and develop appreciation for its role in enhancing education.

The main objectives of this WebQuest are to help students explain the advantages of technology in education, identify various technological tools used in learning, appreciate the importance of technology in modern classrooms, and create a meaningful output such as a poster, essay, or presentation. The activity can be completed within one to two class sessions depending on the pace of the learners.

To complete the WebQuest, students will need internet access, devices such as laptops or smartphones, and the provided online resources including video and article links. Teachers are encouraged to introduce the topic first, guide students in accessing the materials, monitor their progress, and encourage collaboration and critical thinking throughout the activity. Student outputs will be assessed using a rubric that focuses on content accuracy, understanding of the topic, creativity, organization of ideas, and effort.

As an extension activity, teachers may ask students to reflect on how their learning experience would change if technology were not available in education, helping them deepen their understanding of the topic.
