3 Learning Behaviors

Introduction

Imaging walking into a classroom where some students learn by doing, some by watching others, and some by rewards and consequences. Which one are you?

In this WebQuest you will be learning the differences in:

  • Cognitive Psychology
  • Behaviorism
  • Social Cognitive Theory
Task

For your task you will become a researcher!

You will research the three different learning theories: Cognitive Psychology, Behaviorism, and Social Cognitive Theory. You will also learn how they are used in schools.

You will create:

A poster over the three different learning theories. The poster must be colorful, have images, and gives a good overview of what each theory means. 

Tools:

Poster board and colors.

You will present this project to your class.

Final Poster Must Include:

1. Main Idea of the 3 different theories

2. Example of each of the 3 different theories

3. An image/graphic that represents each of the 3 different theories

4. Visually appealing and informative
