WebQuest summary
In this reading center, students will be given a leveled book to read with a partner that is appropriate to their reading group (four differentiated groups). After reading, students with their partners, will complete a who, what, when, where, why activity page and glue it into their interactive reading notebooks. This center allows student to practice de-coding strategies and reinforces comprehension skills when students identify story elements. This activity is evaluated using a rubric based on completion, accuracy, effort, and notebook organization. This holds students accountable and independent for their reading and writing responses.
