Introduction
Hello, readers! Every story has a message or lesson that the author wants us to learn. This is called the theme. In this WebQuest, you will read a story, identify its theme, and explain how the events and characters help teach that lesson.

Task
You will work in a small group to create a Canva presentation about the theme of a story. Your presentation should include:
- The title of the story
- The theme or lesson of the story
- Three details from the story that support the theme
- A picture or drawing that represents the theme
- A short explanation of why the theme is important
Each group will present their project to the class.
Process
Create your Canva presentation using the information your group collected.
Evaluation
Students will be evaluated using a rubric based on their understanding of the story's theme, the evidence they use to support their ideas, their creativity, teamwork, and presentation skills. To earn the highest score, students should correctly identify the theme, include at least three details from the story that support the theme, and create a clear and organized Canva presentation. Each group member should participate in the project and work well with their teammates. During the presentation, students should speak clearly, explain their ideas, and answer any questions about the theme and supporting details.
