Introduction
Every day, people use plastic bags, bottles, and wrappers without thinking about where they end up. Much of this plastic becomes pollution that harms animals, rivers, oceans, and even human health. As young environmental advocates, you have been chosen by your community to investigate the problem of plastic waste and suggest practical solutions. Through this WebQuest, you will explore reliable online resources, work with your classmates, and discover how small actions can create a cleaner and healthier environment.
Task
Your group will investigate the effects of plastic pollution and create a digital poster or PowerPoint presentation that explains:
What plastic pollution is
- How it affects people, animals, and the environment
2. Five practical ways students and families can reduce plastic waste
3. A short pledge encouraging others to protect the environment
At the end of the activity, each group will present their work to the class.
