In this WebQuest, you will become a Young Entrepreneu and plan your own small food business. Can you create a product that is affordable, delicious, and profitable? Let’s find out
Task
Your task is to work in a group of 3 and create a Business Proposal + Product Prototype for a small food business.
Your final output should include:
1. Business Name and Product - What food will you sell? Example: Banana Chips, Milk Tea, Siomai
2. Target Customers - Who will buy it? Students, teachers, neighbors
3. Costing and Price - List of ingredients, total cost, and selling price with profit
4. Marketing Plan - How will you promote it? Poster, Facebook, TikTok
5. Prototype - Actual sample of your product or photos + packaging design

Step 1: Research Successful Businesses
Visit the websites below to learn how small food businesses start and succeed in the Philippines.
Step 2: Plan Your Product
Decide your product, compute ingredients cost, and set your selling price. Use the costing template.
Step 3: Design Your Marketing
Create 1 poster and 1 social media caption to advertise your product.
Step 4: Make Your Prototype
Cook/make a small sample of your product at home and take photos. Design packaging using paper or Canva.
Step 5: Present Your Business
Submit your proposal, costing, and photos to Google Classroom. Present to class.
