Introduction

In this WebQuest, students will explore different Philippine destinations and research the information needed to create a four-day vacation plan for two people.

Task

Students will develop a four-day Philippine vacation plan for two people with a maximum budget of ₱20,000.

The completed travel plan should include:

  • Selected Philippine destination
  • Accommodation
  • Transportation
  • Tourist attractions and activities
  • Food and meal expenses
  • Four-day itinerary
  • Estimated expenses
  • Total travel budget
  • Sources of information

The final output will be presented as a digital travel brochure or presentation.

Process

Step 1: Select a Destination

Students will select one Philippine destination for their four-day vacation.

Possible destinations include:

  • Cebu
  • Bohol
  • Palawan
  • Siargao
  • Boracay
  • Baguio
  • Davao

Step 2: Conduct Research

Students will gather information about their selected destination, including:

  • Tourist attractions
  • Available activities
  • Transportation options

  • Entrance fees and other expenses

Students should record the sources used during the research.

Step 3: Prepare the Budget

Students will estimate the expected expenses for two people.
