Understanding Pollution

Introduction

Pollution is a problem that affects people, animals, plants, and especially our environment. It comes from rubbish, smoke, dirty water, chemicals, and other human activities.

Imagine that you are an environmental detective that your job is to investigate pollution, find out what causes it and how it affects our environment and what we can do to solve it.

 

 

Task

By the end of the Web-quest, students can;

  • identify human activities contribute to pollutions
  • List examples of pollution 
  • Demonstrate the solution of pollution

Process

Work in group of 3-4 group. In this webquest you're going watch a clip on pollution and assgin to do a small task regarding to the topic

Step 1: Watch carefully the video provided on the three types of pollution

Step 2: List down two examples of Land, Water and Air Pollution

  • one best solution

Conclusion

After completing the Web-quest, students should understand that pollution can harm our environment and communities. They should also understand that everyone can help reduce pollution by disposing of rubbish properly, reducing plastic use, keeping water clean, planting trees, and keeping the community clean.
