Introduction
In this webquest, I updated a free webquest lesson I found on TPT. The name of it was It explored the character lf the president or the vice president. At the time the president was Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The theme of the webquest was "Character Matters" and included a search about the character of our president and vice president. The original webquest included researching Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. This webquest will update the original contribution with a study of the current president and vice president's character. The original webquest will be included as a pdf contribution. Cultural awareness acknowledges that there is individual differences that can support native languages, varied learning preferences and multiple intellegences. Chisolm/Wetzel (2001)
Task
Determine reliable sources when researching on the internet. Make sure your sources are current and relevant.Use facts to maken a factual presentation with the slides app of your choice. Google slides is a good resource. Cuturally relevant learning activities should be used to develop this journalistic task. The task is to research and present what the character of the president is like. Students can collaborate and work in groups and pair-share.
Process
Use primary source www.whitehouse.gov to begin. Take notes and make character inferences about who you chose from actual primary source character facts and how character matters. Create a slides presentation of your findings of the character traits of the executive you chose to study. Use primary source links provided. Provide culturally supported environments that are safe and inclusive. Included are the steps, process and design to make a unique webquest contribution.
Evaluation
Presentation completion will be the evaluation. Student must include primary sources in presentation.Instructional flexibility and various modes of delivery will be allowed to harmonize with the learner's strengths and preferences. A basic rubric would include development of presentation and use of primary sources/links of information to meet curriculum objectives with a creative end project.
Conclusion
Instructional integration acknowledges that technology is an essential tool for learning and teaching. Equitable access should be provided for each student in ways that best meet their needs.

Teacher Page
I think this lesson is culturally relevant and increases awareness to all students about our current president and vice president. Students can work in groups and feel comfortable brainstorming in their own language or code-switching while they learn English.
