Healthy Lifestyle Investigation

Introduction

Do you ever wonder why some people have so much more energy than others? There are so many lifestyle habits that can affect your energy levels! Your mission is to investigate your everyday habits and see which ones may harm your health. Think about your screen time, nutrition, sleep, and physical activity.

Task

You will need to gather evidence from reliable resources on the following topic: Sleep, screen time, nutrition, and physical activity.

It would be best if you could find information regarding teens or school-aged people! Your final product should be a pamphlet that is handed out in middle schools and high schools about how these students can improve their health.

Process

  1. Brainstorm what being healthy actually means.
  2. Gather evidence from reliable resources on how the topics (screen time, nutrition, sleep, and physical activity) affect teens and their energy levels.
  3. Create your lifestyle guide. This should include:
    1. Title
    2. Information about how all four topics affect a teen's health
    3. Photos or infographics
    4. At least two tips for each topic that a middle schooler or high schooler could implement
    5. A list of sources
