1. Terms

By accessing this web site, you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. CreateWebquest.com is operated from Greece by its owner. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use this site. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

Creating an account requires a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may create only one account. Accounts and WebQuests are intended for educators; no person under the age of 13 may create an account or submit personal information to this site.

3. Free and Premium Plans

CreateWebquest.com offers a free plan and an optional paid Premium plan. The free plan allows the creation of a single WebQuest and is supported by advertising. The Premium plan is a one-time purchase that grants unlimited WebQuests and removes advertising, as described on our Plans page. Accounts that existed before the Premium plan was introduced retain the WebQuests they had already created.

4. Premium Plan: Payment, VAT and Refunds

  1. The Premium plan is a single, one-time payment. It is not a subscription and no recurring charges are made. "Lifetime" access means access for as long as CreateWebquest.com continues to operate as a service.
  2. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are shown exclusive of VAT; applicable VAT is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing country.
  3. The Premium plan is a digital product to which you receive access immediately upon successful payment. Where permitted, by completing your purchase you request immediate access and acknowledge that this may affect statutory rights to withdraw from the purchase once access has been provided.
  4. If you experience a genuine problem with your purchase — for example, you were charged but did not receive Premium access — contact us at info@createwebquest.com and we will resolve it, including issuing a refund where appropriate.
  5. Where we suspend or terminate a Premium account for a violation of these Terms (for example, spam or abuse as described below), we are under no obligation to provide a refund, although we may choose to do so at our sole discretion.

5. Disclaimer

  1. The materials on CreateWebquest.com's web site are provided "as is". CreateWebquest.com makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, CreateWebquest.com does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its web site or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.
  2. CreateWebquest.com is not responsible and expressly disclaims all liability for the content of any contribution submitted by users of this website.

6. Limitations

In no event shall CreateWebquest.com or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on CreateWebquest.com's web site, even if CreateWebquest.com or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

7. Revisions and Errata

The materials appearing on CreateWebquest.com's web site could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. CreateWebquest.com does not warrant that any of the materials on its web site are accurate, complete, or current. CreateWebquest.com may make changes to the materials contained on its web site at any time without notice. CreateWebquest.com does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

8. Links & User-submitted content

CreateWebquest.com has not reviewed all of the sites linked to from its web site and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by CreateWebquest.com of the site. Use of any such linked web site is at the user's own risk.

By submitting material via the site, you represent that you are the owner of the material, or are making your submission with the express consent of the owner.

Opinions expressed in user-submitted content are those of their respective contributors and do not necessarily represent the views of CreateWebquest.com or any associates of CreateWebquest.com.

9. Acceptable Use, Spam, and Removal of WebQuests or Accounts

CreateWebquest.com is a platform for genuine educational WebQuests. It is not a venue for advertising, link building, search-engine manipulation, or promotion of commercial products, services, or organizations. We reserve the right to remove any WebQuest and to suspend, terminate, or ban any account that we consider to be spam or otherwise in violation of these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice or any obligation to provide a reason or explanation.

In particular, and without limitation, WebQuests and accounts created primarily to promote or link to a product, service, brand, certification body, or other commercial or organizational interest will be treated as spam and removed on sight, and the associated account may be banned. This applies regardless of whether the account is on the free or the Premium plan. As set out in section 4(e), termination of a Premium account for such a violation does not entitle the account holder to a refund.

We will make a reasonable effort to review content, and may remove any that violate these Terms or that, in our sole discretion, we otherwise consider objectionable. Content and accounts we may remove or ban include, without limitation, those that are:

  • Profane, obscene, inappropriate, disruptive or unrelated to the topic and conversation.
  • Indecent, sexually explicit or pornographic material of any kind — including masked profanity where symbols, initials, intentional misspellings or other characters are used to suggest profane language.
  • Threats; personal attacks; abusive, defamatory, derogatory, ad hominem, or inflammatory language; or stalking or harassment of any individual, entity or organization.
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting an affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Discriminatory or containing hateful speech of any kind regarding age, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, political affiliations, disability or other characteristics.
  • False, inaccurate, libelous or otherwise misleading in any way.
  • Spam, or content containing or linking to any kind of virus, malware, spyware, or similar program that could cause harm to a user's computer.
  • Advertising, solicitations, or content that promotes commercial interests, campaigns, causes, brands, organizations, or political views.
  • Repeated or identical posts.
  • Any content that might constitute a criminal offense or give rise to civil liability, or that otherwise violates local, national or international laws or regulations.
  • Any content that might identify matters currently the subject of legal proceedings or would break a court's non-publication order.

In certain instances we may also suspend, terminate, or permanently ban repeat offenders and those committing significant violations of these Terms. Our decisions on what constitutes spam or a violation are final.

10. Site Terms of Use Modifications

CreateWebquest.com may revise these terms of use for its web site at any time without notice. By using this web site you are agreeing to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and any claim relating to CreateWebquest.com's web site shall be governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. This does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence.
