Being kind and respectful are important values that every Filipino should have. We learn these at home, in school, and in our community. But do we always show good manners to the people around us? In this WebQuest, you will take on the role of Values Advocates. You will study the good traits that make us proud Filipinos, understand why they are important, and find simple ways to practice them every day. By the end of this activity, you will know how to be a better person and a good example to others.

Working in groups of four, you will:

 

- Research common Filipino values and good manners we should practice.

- Find out how these values help us build good relationships with family, friends, and neighbors.

- Suggest simple ways to show respect and kindness in school and at home.

- Create a digital poster or 5-slide presentation about the importance of good conduct.

- Present your work clearly to the class for 5–7 minutes.

Step 1: Talk with your group about the good manners and values you see or experience in your daily life.

Step 2: Visit the trusted websites listed in the Resources section to get correct information.

Step 3: Answer these guide questions:

 - What Filipino values did your group choose to talk about?

- Why are these values important to us as Filipinos?

- How do good manners help us get along well with other people?

- What simple things can students like you do to show these values?

Step 4: Make your poster or presentation with these parts:

- Clear title

- List of the values you chose

- Why they are important

- Simple ways to practice them

Step 5: Practice explaining your work so you can present it clearly to the class.
